What's happening?

Well since I haven't updated my blog in some time, you might think that the book project is dead, but don't think for one second that it's dead because it is far from that. This is just the quiet before the storm. So what is going on you ask? I am working on editing my book again and playing the author-publisher waiting game. If nothing happens within the next six months, I will self publish my book. In the mean time, I'm also working on getting a new book cover, so stay tuned for more information on that front. What is wrong with my current book cover? Another good question. Google a book by the name of Child Thief and you will have your answer. Thank you and good night. Now back to editing.

The Life of an Aspiring Author

It's not easy. here I am on a Saturday Night, one week removed from my first time visit to the Big apple, sitting here reading and editing my book for what seems like the 100th time. Well it's no where near 100 times, but it feels like I have been here before many times before. But this feels necessary, so here I am again editing my story. But never fear, I am declaring 2012 the official year of Failure and Redemption. No matter what I am publishing this book in 2012, so that I can finally share this story with the world!

So Here I am again reading my manuscript once again and doing some light editing and looking for publishers so that I can get this series off of the ground, Lets keep our fingers crossed

Bringing the pictures back!

Greater Cleveland Writers meetup Group

I enjoyed my time with the writers meetup group last night and as always enjoyed hearing the new aspiring authors and the industry insight that comes along with being a part of the group. The food was good, the wines was good and the company was even better, can't wait until next month!

Copyrights and Progress

Who knew that it took so long to get a certificate in the mail? Oh well its only a formality.

So many of you may still be wondering what is the status of the book? When can I get a copy, what is it about?

I know that I have not talked about the book in some time, but I am still very excited about the project and if you must know what I have been up to lately, I have been working on book two of the series, which is nearing completion. I love my new characters and I hope that you will love them as well. I plan on restoring the pictures back to the website soon so that you can enjoy the visual aspects of this project as well.

I am also looking to publish the first book before the end of the year with a very special release date and marketing campaign, so stay tuned.

And for those of you who have not been paying attention, the book is about the second coming of Christ and the devil’s intentions to take over the universe.

Anniversary

It was a year ago in March, I don't remember the exact date, but it was one year ago that I started the failure and Redemption novel series and the last year has been eventful indeed. With ups and downs rejection and success, the writing process is not easy, but it is rewarding none the less. In just one year I have written 150,000 words and getting closer to getting an actual physical book published, whether by a Industry Giant or by myself, the book will be available soon, you can count on that. So as I write this, I am also in the process of editing and continuing the story that is the epic adventure of Failure and Redemption.

I would also like to thank all of those who supported me over the past year including my friends, family, peers and those at the Greater Cleveland writers group.

Staying motivated

The month of February is starting and March is quickly approaching. The month of March will mark the one year anniversary of the Failure and redemption books project. As I reflect on the first year of this project and I very satisfied. I have a total of 154,000 words and 445 pages. That seems pretty good for the first year. Work on getting published has been a test of my patients and determination but never fear for I am going to publish this book series. So for those of you out there writing, keep going and for those of you out there pursue your dreams, never give up.
