Kick starting the book. I am about to start a campaign of Kickstarter.com for my book, any support would be greatly appreciated. I am currently working on finishing up my second book and I must say, I am enjoying it. we are getting closer to launch date, so stay tuned for new announcements!

2052 Failure and Redemption goes to the Olympics

So my brother, the artist, was asking me if my characters are athletic why don't we add some sports to the book. So as the discussion went on, I counted the years and it just so happens that 2052 is an Olympic year. So here I am editing book one once again with future Cairo as the host city and Troy and Sasha competing for a spot on Team USA. This project is so fun for me, I can't wait until you can get you hands on this book, so stay tuned for more updates. Besides that I am working on acquiring replica's of several items from my book, so stay tuned for more art and more exciting developments. What's New?

I sent out a query letter this week, fingers crossed. besides that there is new artwork from both Ricardo Jackson and my brother and they both look amazing. I will post them soon. And in other news I am working on getting the plane and the devil's mask made from the book. and after talking with several people over the past few weeks I have decided that I want to shoot a short video preview for the book. So stay tuned for casting information and more updates.

Back at it

Well I have been sick lately which sucks, but while I am laying around waiting to get well I took some time to browse the web for some new agents to query. I also browsed through the 2012 GUISE TO LITERARY AGENTS, thanks to Kim and I am compiling a list of agents to query to for the 2012 year. In the mean time if nothing happens I am getting my money together to self publish. I have also been sharing some of my brother's art inspired by my book on Facebook. So stay tuned as we continue the journey that is Failure and Redemption.

Going to the movies

If I were to make a movie of book one of my series here who I would love to cast for the various roles in the movie.

What's happening?

Well since I haven't updated my blog in some time, you might think that the book project is dead, but don't think for one second that it's dead because it is far from that. This is just the quiet before the storm. So what is going on you ask? I am working on editing my book again and playing the author-publisher waiting game. If nothing happens within the next six months, I will self publish my book. In the mean time, I'm also working on getting a new book cover, so stay tuned for more information on that front. What is wrong with my current book cover? Another good question. Google a book by the name of Child Thief and you will have your answer. Thank you and good night. Now back to editing.

The Life of an Aspiring Author

It's not easy. here I am on a Saturday Night, one week removed from my first time visit to the Big apple, sitting here reading and editing my book for what seems like the 100th time. Well it's no where near 100 times, but it feels like I have been here before many times before. But this feels necessary, so here I am again editing my story. But never fear, I am declaring 2012 the official year of Failure and Redemption. No matter what I am publishing this book in 2012, so that I can finally share this story with the world!
